E10 compatible Approximate year range of this kit 1948 to 1959
When refurbishing your carburettor with this kit, it is advisable to fit a new needle. You will need to choose from the following four options for a needle.
For 918cc SIDE VALVE engine fitted with the H1 carburettor, (CARB SPEC.NUMBER AUC452) (approximate years 1948 to 1952) use needle with the part number CRB102SV.
For 803cc engine fitted with the H1 carburettor, (CARB SPEC.NUMBERS AUC704 or AUC738) (approximate years 1953 to 1956) use needle with the part number CRB102.
For EARLY 948cc engine fitted with the H2 carburettor, (CARB SPEC.NUMBERS AUC833 with oil bath air filter, or AUC852 with oil bath air filter or AUC888) (approximate years 1957 & 1958) use needle with the part number CRB174.
For MID YEAR of the 948cc engine fitted with the H2 carburettor, (CARB SPEC.NUMBERS AUC833 with paper element air filter, or AUC852 with paper element air filter or AUC924) (approximate year 1959) use needle with the part number CRB203..
